The Template of Demoncracy

The Template of Demoncracy

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. …We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. …In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons…who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.”― Edward L. Bernays, Propaganda

The Federal Reserve was set up in 1913 to finance both sides of two subsequent world wars. In other words, these wars were funded by the credit of the US taxpayer. Apart from profiting from it , the Illuminati bankers use war to enslave us with debt, enact social change and consolidate their power .

Lawmakers consider new curbs on incendiary speech
By Russell Berman – 01/10/11 08:52 PM ET

“Shocked and saddened lawmakers grappled on Monday with the weekend shooting of one of their own, with some suggesting that new laws and regulations are needed to curb incendiary speech.
One lawmaker, Rep. Robert Brady (D-Pa.), has said he would introduce a bill to make it a crime to threaten or incite violence against a federal official.

Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) suggested the Federal Communications Commission was “not working anymore,” adding she would look at ways to better police language on the airwaves. A brick was thrown through a window of Slaughter’s district office last year. Abominable.”

All of this is a reaction to the remake of ‘The Manchurian Candidate: 2011′, staring, Jared Lee Loughner as MK Assassin, Gabrielle Giffords as a wounded congresswoman, and Federal Judge John McCarthy Roll as dead primary target.

The reaction above written by Berman is the frontal attack on the 1st Amendment free speech articles, while a second maneuver is an attack on the 2nd Amendment by another congressional contingent.

Naomi Kline’s book “The Shock Doctrine” she writes: “we are assaulted with so many levels of serious crimes and crises: financial, illegal wars, depression, theft, and bioweapons, created illnesses. The list goes on and on to keep us off balance. This is to make our lives extremely difficult (except for the 1% rich who are profiting from this chaos), so we have no time to contemplate what is actually happening: The deliberate destruction of our country.”

NOW, how can people just blow this off? I explain this to my mother and it goes in one ear and out the other as if there is nothing but thin air in-between. And she is just one of countless people I have talked to throughout my life. I always inquire as to what people think is happening. I am always met with stunning naivete, the ignorant conformity of programmed automatons.
A great and dark pathology embraces the entire planet..~ww

As Shakespeare said, “Hell is empty and the devils are here,” ~The Tempest

And this is a double headed Golem screaming at itself as it stomps on liberty;

Obama: “They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun”
Obama to His Followers: “Get in Their Faces!”
Obama on ACORN Mobs: “I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!”
Obama to His Mercenary Army: “Hit Back Twice As Hard”
Obama on the private sector: “We talk to these folks… so I know whose ass to kick.“
Obama to voters: Republican victory would mean “hand to hand combat”
Obama to lib supporters: “It’s time to Fight for it.”
Obama to Latino supporters: “Punish your enemies.”
Obama to democrats: “I’m itching for a fight.”.

That is representative of the Left Hegelian rhetoric. Then there is the well known Right Hegelian thrust with it’s rifle scope sights with “lefties” in them. All political theater; PSYOP.

“Psychological operations (PSYOP) are planned operations to
convey selected information and indicators to foreign audiences
to influence the emotions, motives, objective reasoning, and
ultimately the behavior of foreign governments, organizations,
groups, and individuals. PSYOP are a vital part of the broad
range of US diplomatic, informational, military, and economic
activities. PSYOP characteristically are delivered as information
for effect, used during peacetime and conflict, to inform and

However, under the new strategic maxim of Full Spectrum Dominance, the ‘war theater’ is perpetual and global—including the domestic “audience”. So these PSYOPs are directed to influence the Amerikan people as well.~ww

The nature of modern wars is based on usurping natural resources and the wealth of nations. Thus, these wars are materialist wars, either fought on strategic grounds to acquire wealth and power or to directly usurp it. Any ideological framework is used to deceive the masses. These wars are therefore criminal acts.~Madhi Darius Nazemroaya

“In 1996, U.S. Secretary of Defence, William Perry, started raising the alarms and saying that Iran was a “growing threat to stability in the [Persian] Gulf.”~ibid

But what this really means in Newspeak, is that Iran is a growing threat for stability in the Persian Gulf region. If the region cannot be maintained in a state of instability, the US would loose the leverage against a unified regional power. And further when the term US is used, it does not mean the nation, the United States, but the Financial Powers that use US military power as their enforcement arm.~ww

“While Tehran and Moscow signed an important cooperation agreement on March 12, 2001, a few months later Moscow and Beijing signed the Treaty of Good-Neighbourliness and Friendly Cooperation (July 24, 2001, less than two months before September 11, 2001).

The Chinese, the Russians, and the Iranians all saw the writing on the wall. Geo-political conflict was on the horizon and the U.S. and NATO war machine was getting ready to march into Eurasia.

At its roots the state serves elitist interests. In this context it is worth quoting George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four. An excerpt from a fictitious book, Emmanuel Goldstein’s The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism, being read by Orwell’s protagonist Winston sums this point:

“The war, therefore, if we judge it by standards of previous wars, is merely an imposture. […] But though it is unreal it is not meaningless. It eats up the surplus of consumable goods, and it helps to preserve the special mental atmosphere that a hierarchical society needs. War, it will be seen, is now a purely internal affair. In the past, the ruling groups of all countries, although they might recognise their common interest and therefore limit the destructiveness of war, did fight against one another, and the victor always plundered the vanquished. In our day they are not fighting against one another at all. The war is waged by each ruling group against its own subjects, and the object of the war is not to make or prevent conquests of territory, but to keep the structure of society intact. The very word [and conceptualization of] ‘war’, therefore has been misleading.”~Orwell

John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the White House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: “This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.”

Thomas Jefferson said in 1802: I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property – until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

Brenton Greene, the director of the NCS on September 11, told the 9/11 Commission that on September 10, 2001, “miraculously, the SRAS system was turned on for exercise mode and thus it was ready to function on September 11.” Therefore, when the NCS was required to assist the government’s response to the terrorist attacks, the “SRAS was already in exercise mode and operational.”

“On the morning of 9/11, the entire Continuity of Government program was activated. Every federal agency was ordered to activate an alternative command post, an alternative headquarters outside of Washington, DC, and to staff it as soon as possible.” [13]

Considering that the SRAS is intended to support the COG program, it was convenient, to say the least, that it was already operational on September 11 and therefore immediately ready to be utilized by those involved with COG when the plan was activated.

In a certain sense, what I bring here is a gathering of Magi [Magus, plural]. It is that particular blend of intuition and informed rational contemplation that is our bonding principles. I don’t mean this in an occult way at all. The occult is occult because it is hidden, that is what it means. We may investigate the hidden, but we are not of it.
But there are rituals. They may be “technological”, but they are indeed prescribed ritual. The word is simply not thought of in such a way by most. This comes from the same mind-set as those who think ‘history is over’, as if “that was then and this is now” has much real bearing on a cyclic process such as history. This attitude blinds one to amplifying the differences in human activities on trivial pretexts. A person sitting using his fingers, physical dexterity, concentration of focused attention while chipping an arrowhead is actually not substantially different, other than technological, what a person using a computer does. A great deal is just repetitive patterns, ie; rituals. Somehow, after all these eons, we are still humans locked in our moment of Now.
When one discovers, and truly ‘groks’ that the past is with us, it has brought us to this moment, the next step of getting that the future is here as well. The past and the present define it.

While this is easily perceived from a certain angle is beyond those who see from other angles.
The most common is a narrow conformist view of culturally enforced lazy thinking. The majority of people don’t like thinking because it reminds them of ‘taking a test’ based on something being taught. This is the conditioning of rote instruction, the dulling of natural curiosity.

So not only do free thinkers annoy the “well informed academic”, but also those who have been programmed to ‘feel’ that thinking is practically subversive.
Insatiable curiosity frightens both types; who are actually two aspects of the same type, lazy thinkers. Consensus and conformity are intimate with one another.

So now, what is this? This is a story. Nothing more than a story. But it is my story, from my perspective, They are all only stories. The point is to live your own. Gawblesmurkah

  1. “The Lone Gladio” Blows The Lid Off Of Gladio B
    Posted: 22 Sep 2014 12:04 AM PDT
    thelonegladio by James Corbett
    September 22, 2014

“The Lone Gladio,” the new novel by FBI whistleblower and founder Sibel Edmonds, is not just another spy novel. Yes, it is about spies…of a sort. And clandestine missions. And double-crosses and unsure loyalties. But that’s where the similarity ends.

“The Lone Gladio” derives its name from Operation Gladio. As even the most mainstream source (read: Wikipedia) will tell you, Operation Gladio was a NATO-led “stay-behind” operation to build up paramilitary forces that could resist Soviet occupation in the event of a Soviet invasion of Europe. It operated in many countries but is most closely associated with Italy where the program was first exposed in spectacular fashion by Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti in October, 1990. The scale of the scandal involved with the revelation of this program is hard to overstate; Gladio stay-behind operatives were intimately involved with some of the worst atrocities of Italy’s so-called “Years of Lead” including the Bologna Massacre, a bombing of the Bologna railway station that left 85 dead and over 200 wounded.

What the mainstream sources do not tell you about Operation Gladio is that it is not merely a NATO-led operation, but a CIA-sponsored and Pentagon-connected one; that it is not merely operative in Europe but throughout the world; that its main area of operations is not Italy but Turkey; and that it did not end operations after the fall of the Soviet Union, but merely changed tactics, from fostering right-wing paramilitary groups (original Gladio) to fostering Islamic terrorist groups (Gladio “B”).

All of this is documented fact, although for the deeper analysis of these facts and how they relate to the current “war on terror” you’ll have to invest the time in my landmark interview series with Sibel Edmonds on Gladio B that was conducted last year. In that series, Sibel Edmonds went further than ever before in laying out what she gathered in her time as a translator in the Washington Field Office of the FBI, including: US State Department / Gladio operative’s liaison with Osama Bin Laden’s right-hand man throughout the 1990s; the NATO takeover of Afghan poppy fields after 9/11 and Gladio-protected drug running and money laundering operations; the dramatic life (and death) of drug trafficker, assassin and Turkish government collaborator Abdullah Çatlı; the direction of billionaire Imam Fethullah Gulen’s mysterious fortune and his 600 madrasas from his Pennsylvania castle with his CIA backers; Gladio-sponsored false flag terror operations in Central Asia and the Caucasus; and much more.

Any way you slice it, the information packed into the Gladio B series is explosive, pun intended. But as deeply involved as it is with characters, names, places and events that most in the Western world have little or no familiarity with, it can be difficult to see the forest for the trees. “The Lone Gladio” is a work of ‘fiction’ that steps back from the trees to show you the forest.

The central conceit of the novel is that a high-ranking Gladio operative, stung by the incidental killing of his lover (“collateral damage” as he himself would have termed it), goes rogue, setting in motion a series of events that threatens to expose the entire Gladio B operation. Caught up along the way are a high-ranking Congressman on a child sex tour of Cambodia; the CIA team that is surveilling and blackmailing him; an American reporter caught in the crossfire; a US mogul searching for his son’s killers; the Russian operatives who have penetrated his organization; and Elsie Simon, a plucky 5 foot 3 inch 105 pound FBI translator haunted by the disappearance of her father.

The novel has all the twists and turns of any spy thriller, and then some. There is action, suspense, high-tech spy gadgetry, violence, and a love story. But what sets this book apart is that, unlike a Tom Clancy or John Le Carré novel, “The Lone Gladio” is not escapism. In fact, it is exactly the opposite: it is a vehicle for revealing the shocking reality underneath the surface of the mundane picture of the world we are presented with on the nightly news. No jingoistic patriotism and good guys in service to the president bunkum here. Consider this description of the shadow government from “OG 68″ aka Greg MacPhearson, the high-ranking Gladio operative gone rogue:

“There are others outside the government, and they are the ones on top. They are the true power that controls the second tier: the government front system—because government is a front. The CIA too sets up front companies; it’s strikingly similar. The real power—the Deep State, let’s call it—is out and above the actual visible government.”

The true power of this novel is that, although it is a work of fiction with fictional characters and fictional license is taken (the 9/11 false flag is revealed as a hoax on national television, after all), it is still a tale told by an insider with an insider’s knowledge of this system and how it functions. We would be fools not to take this book and the message it is desperately trying to impart seriously. And that message is that there is a deep state, that it has been functioning a long time, and that it is puppeteering the events we see playing out across the nightly news.

Eat your heart out, Fleming, Ludlow, Clancy, Le Carré; “The Lone Gladio” boldly goes where no mere spy yarn would dare.

  2. For clarity, let me say again here; I only use the term “demonocracy” as a metaphor.
I think belief in demons and devils and dark metaphysical forces are all the creation of human imagination, or a lack thereof; ie; falling for the bullshit PR of the priest class.

You can come as you are, but you’ll pay as you go.

  3. NATO’s War on Libya and Africa

    By Maximilian Forte
    Global Research, September 22, 2014
    Url of this article:

“NATO’s war in Libya was proclaimed as a humanitarian intervention — bombing in the name of “saving lives.” Attempts at diplomacy were stifled. Peace talks were subverted.

Libya was barred from representing itself at the UN, where shadowy NGOs and “human rights” groups held full sway in propagating exaggerations, outright falsehoods, and racial fear mongering that served to sanction atrocities and ethnic cleansing in the name of democracy. The rush to war was far speedier than Bush’s invasion of Iraq.

Max Forte has scrutinized the documentary history from before, during, and after the war. He argues that the war on Libya was not about human rights, nor entirely about oil, but about a larger process of militarizing U.S. relations with Africa. The development of the Pentagon’s Africa Command, or AFRICOM, was in fierce competition with Pan-Africanist initiatives such as those spearheaded by Muammar Gaddafi.

Far from the success NATO boasts about or the “high watermark” proclaimed by proponents of the “Responsibility to Protect,” this war has left the once prosperous, independent and defiant Libya in ruin, dependency and prolonged civil strife.”

  4. Is Putin also in it – A Partner with The West?

It is difficult to watch the Russia-Ukraine-US-EU joint production and not to think of Machiavelli. He was an interesting character – The 17th century Think Tank who introduced Europe to the art of Political Jujutsu – the art of manipulating the opponent’s own force to defeat him. He formulated a complete instruction set and the methodology to achieve the desired outcome and the solution to any problem pertaining to the political dissent, turmoil, or crisis – He is still considered the last word in the field of Crisis Management. His techniques have since been analyzed, refined, and turned into a science – There are sophisticated algorithms and large scale computer programs that incorporate the Machiavellian strategies to model the solutions to a variety of socio-economic and political situations. The entire Machiavelli Crisis Management System is based on the application of three simple techniques:

    1- Diversion:
The idea here is to divert the public attention from the real activities and actions of the rulings elites by creating enough commotion to distract and divert the public attention from the real issue.

    2- Deflection:
Deflection is the process of guiding a popular movement – easy and slow, in the desired direction. This tactic also serves to provide a venting mechanism to let the steam out – thereby, avoiding the potential damage to the estate of the princely ones.

    3- Hijack:
This one is quite simple and easy: just infiltrate, let the movement grove, and, then, hijack it at its peak – Bingo, the movement is now yours!
The fact is that Putin’s actions, or, rather, inactions, do not fit the profile of an independent leader of a powerful country – There is too much The fate the oligarchs of the world is interconnected – Either they form a yet more tightly knitted circle, and survive as a class, or get wiped out like the previous ones.bending, and too many compromises.”

As I have been espousing for some time now; there are no ‘independent nations’ – it is simply theater. All is a production of Casting Central in the real paradigm of ‘Interdependence’ – The New World Order of the International Banking Cartel.

It will continue as a global strategy of tension perpetually now; just like the plot aspect of Orwell’s 1984.

  5. This one on C1 is good to read for the argument that ensues in the commentary.

The starry eyed Utopians have a mighty and enthusiastic emotional response, but make no rational sense. All were classic ‘straw-man’ arguments; making up their interpretation of what I was saying and arguing against that rather than my argument.

I say “state socialism” and Waldo asks, “what state?” – guessing one of the ‘states’ of the Union… a dreadfully lame comment, when anyone who claims to have gone to university should understand the general term “state” means an area and population under the authority of government, and that my meaning was of a “nation state”, which should be perfectly clear in the context of my article.

Every one of the defenders of ‘Socialism’ were bound up in the straight-jacket of prefab rhetoric of true believers. Dave Hunter, who commented after most of the brouhaha had spewed made this point lucidly – Socialist are like coreligionist of true believers of a dogma they fail to comprehend.

Socialism cannot be likened to societies based in tribalism before the advent of national states. Socialism is statism dependent on a central government. Any definition that doesn’t account for that is not a definition of socialism.

    • Camusreble,

Look into Foucault and panopticism. The history of the Panopticon is drawn from the effects of quarantine during the great plagues of Europe.

It is better you should use your noggin than for me to hand it to you on a plate.
      . . . . . . . . . . . .
“The Plague” by Camus was metaphor for, ‘Neurosis’. Each character in the book describes their particular neurotic characteristics in great detail.

      • At the end of my sophomore year of HS, my English teacher, David Campbell asked me if I would be interested in taking an experimental class he was going to teach the next year. Humanities 101, one of the first Humanities classes taught in a California HS at the time, 1962. There would be only 6 pupils the first half of the year, and the second half would be joined by six others that we would choose one each ourselves.

This was perhaps the only class I had in my entire life of “education” that made any real sense of the world to me, and it went a long way in forming my character and autodidact search for knowledge after getting out of school.

The last book we read for that class was Albert Camus’ THE PLAGUE. We would read a chapter out loud in class each day, taking turns as narrator, often out of doors, in a little garden accessed through the teachers lounge.

We would then discuss that chapter, and how it moved the story along, and would consider where this tale was going, and what was up with each of the characters in the story as it developed. I found the book and the discussions fascinating.

At the end of the year we had finished the book and had the last discussion on it, as we were signing each other’s school yearbooks {which by the way, I had art directed and illustrated.}. At the end of that class Mr Campbell gave us one more assignment; that was to read the book again at some time after we were out of school, think on it and send Mr Campbell the answer to this single question:

What was “the plague”? Obviously he wasn’t asking what was the plague that the people in the book were seeking to avoid by their self confinement behind the city’s walls. We all knew that was clearly stated as the Bubonic Plague that had metamorphosed from pneumonic plague, caused by Yersinia pestis, is enzootic commonly present in populations of fleas carried by ground rodents, especially rats in European cities.

So what the teacher was asking was ‘what does the plague represent’ in Camus’ novel.
After reading the book a few years later, and becoming more familiar with psychology, it struck me right away that the “plague” Camus was describing with his character studies was actually ‘neurosis’ – as each character had very much the profiles of such classical symptoms. One book in particular was illuminating as to this conclusion; Otto Rank’s ART AND ARTIST.

Unfortunately I was never able to send my answer to Mr Campbell, as he had moved on to another school district by then, and no one seemed to know how to get ahold of him when I inquired at my old alma mater.

  6. “Last night, at the sole discretion of President Barack Obama, the United States officially entered the Syrian civil war and launched attacks in that sovereign nation. The president had neither obtained authorization from the U.S. Congress, nor permission from the Syrian state’s current government.

The offensive, launched in secret on , included a mix of fighter jets and bomber aircraft, accompanied by a barrage of ship-launched Tomahawk missiles, confirmed Pentagon press secretary John Kirby.

Military commanders intended to strike as many as 20 targets in the operation, primarily belonging to the Islamic State group, or “ISIS.” The U.S. began attacking that group on August 8th, 2014 — but in Iraq, not Syria.

While the U.S. Congress recently voted to provide armaments to Syrian rebels, it did not vote for direct military strikes. Nonetheless, President Obama acted without reservation and said he would not hesitate to commit more attacks in the future.

“It’s irresponsible and immoral that instead of debating and voting on war, congressional leaders chose to recess Congress for nearly two months,” said Congressman Justin Amash (R-MI), following the breaking news of the offensive. “ISIS is evil, but that fact alone doesn’t give the president authority to launch offensive strikes in Syria or Iraq. Under our Constitution, it is the responsibility of Congress to commence war.”

As has been the case for many years the syndicate squatting in DC is constitutionally ultra vires [beyond law] and the executive branch has usurped sole dictatorial power from the acquiescent legislative and judicial branches.
As clear as this should be to “The Amerikan People”, they are enchanted by the neuromancy of the Public Relations Regime, and are left stupefied and helpless.

  7. The major effect of the Panopticon is, in Foucault’s words (1977: 201), ‘to induce in the inmate a state of conscious and permanent visibility that assures the automate functioning of power’. The emphasised meaning of recognised panoptic principle. The basic nature of the exercise of disciplinary power ‘involves regulation through visibility’ (Hannah, 1997a: 171). ‘Power is exercised through ‘the “eye of power” in the disciplinary gaze’ (Ramazanoglu, 1993: 22). To be able to see offers the basic condition for collecting knowledge, for being ‘in control’

    • The “eye of power” , the Eye of Horus, the ‘All Seeing Eye’ as the Illuminati tail wags the hogs with pickled feet. Rocket powered broom sticks by gawd.

  8. All of the characters in the novel The Plague by Camus suffer from a central malady expressed according to the individual characteristics of these people in quarantine during the time of a the bubonic plague.

The novel itself is a study in panopticism. The plague is not the panopticon itself however…the plague is the resulting psychological effect it has on the inmates under quarantine.

Take the artist character in the book as an example. He is painting a picture of a horse. He has been painting this same picture throughout this entire ordeal of the plague and quarantine.

What is the significance of the horse? It has little significance, other than perhaps a symbol of a vehicle for escape. The major issue to resolve is that he is stuck. He is frozen on spot. He repaints the painting over and again. He cannot move beyond it even in his own imagination.

This is a manifestation of an almost catatonic neurosis.

This neurosis is shared by every other character, manifesting as their personalities are twisted to it.

This is the same resulting psychologically hobbling wound perpetrated by the panopticon.

The book/pamphlet, ‘Art and Artist’, by Otto Rank speaks to this issue with great insight.

And again what I find with those who do not get it, is that they are stuck in an emotional state that simply feels like passion lent to what they see as ‘reasonable’ – but it is not, it is emotional driven defense of something that causes the angst of ‘defensiveness’ anchored in the frustration of not having a rational basis for something they have invested so much of their lives into.

They have failed to grasp the nature of the the game played on their heads. That they have been programmed by repetition of mantras steeped in dogma, a false paradigm that permeates the modern high technological world of postmodern humanity. As True Believers crossing that first threshold of genuine individual thought is a frightening situation. The closer they get to what they have miss-perceived as an abyss of demons and monsters and fire breathing dragons, the more the fear and loathing kicks in.

  13. Violation of International Law: Where is Obama’s “Authorization to Use Force” in Iraq

By Inder Comar – Global Research, September 22, 2014

“There was much enthusiasm in 2008 that President Barack Obama would bring a saner and more lawful approach to issues of foreign policy and war and peace. Six years later — with Americans still being killed in Afghanistan, Guantanamo Bay still in active operation, US drones killing people in several countries and even American citizens, and now new mischief in Iraq — it is clear that President Obama has done little more than expand the already large war-making powers of his predecessor and fully enabled the vision of a “unitary executive” with unfettered powers in war and peace.

The Nuremberg Trials, which outlawed wars not conducted in conformity in international law, made no exceptions for “responsibility to protect,” and in fact labeled any war not conducted with a solid legal footing as the “crime of aggression,” considered the supreme international crime – largely because of the horrific consequences that take place when wars break out. Yet here, too, this White House has recently argued to the Northern District of California that the Nuremberg Trials are “irrelevant” to the determination of whether Presidents can be held accountable for their actions with respect to war and peace.

From a historical point of view, it is ironic that a young senator from Illinois who campaigned in large part agains the Iraq War and who showcased his credentials as a constitutional scholar would be the handmaiden of the permanent “state of exception” described by the National Socialist philosopher Carl Schmitt, who argued that sovereigns should have the right to suspend the legal and juridical constraints of their societies so that they may act outside of law. This is the opposite of the legal constitutionalism that forms the philosophical basis of the American legal order, which can be summarized with the words of Edward Coke: “The King himself should be under no man, but under God and the Law.”

Both parties remain committed to imperialism and the wars that accompany them, or in the immortal words of Tacitus, writing two millennia ago of those who dismantled the ancient republic in Rome in order to create a dynastic and militant empire: “To ravage, to slaughter, to usurp under false titles, they call empire; and where they make a desert, they call it peace.”~D. Inder Comar”

  14. This tyrannical intervention is so naked, so brazen in its hubris that whatever shred of goodwill America had left is completely gone. America is officially the most murderous, anti-democratic, terrorist nation the world has ever known. ~Eric Blair

In some very recent discussions on web blogs I have had others blanch at the mention that the US is a fascist militarist state on par with Nazi Germany in the 1930s, they almost swoon at such an assertion, claiming it is “absurd”. It is not as though they live in a different world, they DO live in a different world. They live in a world of utter mind-manipulated delusions.

What is worse, it is a slight on Germany, which was duped into the position they were in by the very same forces ruling the planet at this time. All manipulated by the Money Powers; as the Founders called them, or The International Bankers, as more contemporary lexicon would phrase it.

Amerika is a land of enchantment, virtually the entire population is in a trance induced by the magic spell of mass media. They are in the clutch of necromancy so high tech, and so powerful that it transcends anything humankind has faced in all of its history. It is a witko mass-mind—a psychotic super-social entity on track for mass suicide. It does not seem as if the world has gone mad, the world has indeed gone mad.

How easy it is to tick off the unlawfulness of the present situation to any objective, sane mind…
..IF there were any to encounter.

First and foremost for those living in NorthCom, the attack on Libya is unconstitutional,as there has been no declaration of war by the Congress. Upon this base fact is this criminal act is touched by international laws going back and combining for hundreds of years. Only the torturous reading of despots themselves can twist all this history of law to pass these acts off as in anyway “legal”. And it is certain that such bald faced lying is being done by official mouthpieces from both the government and corporate sectors at this very time. And this can only happen so openly because the population is already as stupid as a pile of bricks.

It is not my point—nor need it be , to make the legal arguments, they are there and have been there long enough that any intelligent person understands this already. It is my point that the great majority of Amerikans are NOT intelligent persons. Not if we consider intelligence to mean that they are cognizant of issues to do with there own well being and survival. That there is no lack of willingness to share in a comfortable illusion is obvious.

Naivete is not innocence. They are not actually “innocent” until proven guilty in the sociological and psychological sense, this is beyond our discussion of law. “By their deeds shall thee know them” stands to bear as an ethical issue. It is what it is; and that stands naked before all that have eyes to see.

Unless you are aware and consciously against the madness, you are guilty of its manifestation.
And it is yourselves that will pronounce your own sentence, for as I have pointed out, the only destination of the path you are on is mass suicide.~Willy Whitten – March 20, 2011

  16. Arthur Miller Quote on Suffering and Psychoanalysis:

‘My argument with so much of psychoanalysis, is the preconception that suffering is a mistake, or a sign of weakness, or a sign even of illness. When in fact, possibly the greatest truths we know, have come out of people’s suffering. The problem is not to undo suffering, or to wipe it off the face of the earth, but to make it inform our lives, instead of trying to “cure” ourselves of it constantly, and avoid it, and avoid anything but that lobotomized sense of what they call “happiness”.

There’s too much of an attempt, it seems to me, to think in terms of controlling man, rather than freeing him – of defining him, rather than letting him go! It’s part of the whole ideology of this age, which is power-mad!’

“What do you see?” he asked the Muse.

She replied in a calm wistful voice, “nothing but ashes…ashes”.

So it seems to me that the TVZombies are playing Perky Pat, in the virtual sense, rather than the actual sense in the Philip K. Dick story.
I see this age not as pre or post but, Armageddon du jour …in that virtual sense. On the ground reality, simply hasn’t been televised. Armageddon is not to be televised. It is the cover story which is televised.

The TVZombies live in their Perky Pat make believe world of plastic, electronic gadgetry and junkfood. All the Half-Ton Tinkerbells imagining themselves as svelte and stylish Perky Pat.
And all the monkey bat-boys that never swung a bat, they’re all Mickey Mantels in their tin horn baseball caps.

Something happened at the turn of the century, a crack in the world, a paradigm shift that caught many in between alternate realities. We have literally and virtually entered the Twilight Zone:
The ‘Tower of Babble’ episode in which communications over the gulf of these various alternate realities has become incomprehensible. Dancing gyrating ghosts of static or wispy veils appear in the peripheral vision like swarms of android-gnats, echoing in a chamber abyss deep, like stuttering premonitions.

I listen to my own mother’s description of the world she is living in and I am stunned, it is like a story from another universe. I am unkind if I speak in my language, she interprets it as my being in pain…??? “I couldn’t stand it if I thought that way,” she tells me.

“I’m as happy as a lark,” I say “It is you who are in pain, not me,” it’s the TV, but I don’t mention it this time. It’s only real to her if it’s on TV. It’s an enchantment in the days of Perky Pat.

The economists willing to speak up are telling us the US is “nearly” bankrupt, but the fact of the matter is the US has been formally and declared bankrupt since 1933. These bean counters know their numbers but not their history, they in essence report on mythology.
But having proved these assertions time and again, let us rather speak to the actual situation, which is to deconstruct, ‘Alice and Wonderland’ and, ‘The Wizard of OZ’, while sitting in the Twilight Zone Cafe having a cuppa java with Jesus. So yea, we’re discussing such topics as ‘TVZombies’, heat ray weapons, and the nomenclature of the real Moriarty and the Hounds of Vaudeville.

  19. Autodidact Polymath

“The concepts of experts and expertise are debated within the field of epistemology under the general heading of expert knowledge. In contrast, the opposite of a specialist would be a generalist or polymath.”

The term is widely used informally, with people being described as ‘experts’ in order to bolster the relative value of their opinion, when no objective criteria for their expertise is available. The term crank is likewise used to disparage opinions. Academic elitism arises when experts become convinced that only their opinion is useful, sometimes on matters beyond their personal expertise.

A polymath (Greek: πολυμαθής, polymathēs, “having learned much”)[1] is a person whose expertise spans a significant number of different subject areas; such a person is known to draw on complex bodies of knowledge to solve specific problems. The term was first used in the seventeenth century but the related term, polyhistor, is an ancient term with similar meaning.

The term is often used to describe those great thinkers of the Renaissance and the Enlightenment, each of whom excelled at several fields in science and the arts

  21. Universal Snitch Agenda
A joint bulletin released in March by the Department of Homeland Security, FBI and National Counterterrorism Center instructs firefighters and paramedics to use emergency medical treatment as an opportunity to identify violent extremists. The March 2014 bulletin obtained by Public Intelligence titled “Emergency Medical Treatment Presents Opportunity for Discovery of Violent Extremist Activities” is part of the Fire Line series distributed to firefighters, emergency medical service personnel and other first responders around the country.

The bulletin states that efforts to “gain expertise with explosive, incendiary, and chemical/biological devices may lead to injuries and emergency treatment, which may provide potential indicators of violent extremist activities to responding emergency medical service (EMS) personnel.” An initial “size-up” of the scene and “patient assessment” provide first responders with the ability to “evaluate whether an injury is a genuine accident or related to violent extremist activity.” For example, “hastily or expediently treated injuries” observed by first responders “may be an indicator of illicit activity as actors injured in nefarious activity are often not inclined to seek legitimate medical attention, or use efforts that are designed to mislead or obscure the genuine nature of the injury.” Other indicators include “shock or infection accompanying healing wounds, or corrective treatment for healed wounds” often without plausible explanation “may be signs of suspicious activity.”

  22. Often worth a repeat:

The word “believe” has an ancient etymology, and is derived from the Sanskrit.
It is a portmanteau, a combination of two short words; “bel” and “eve”. It has gone through countless variations through time, and “bal” and eva” are two of the earliest.
When one examines the concepts these words were used for conceptually, we find that this is a dialectical portmanteau, with a tension of the opposites extant in it’s meaning.

“Bel”: has to do with jejune, rebellion, angst and “belligerence”, “bellum” “Bal” {an evil entity}, “ballistic” and a long nomenclature of similar conceptualizations put into a descriptive word.

“Eve”: has to do with nurture, nature, empathy, compassion, love, and understanding, equilibrium… also a lengthily nomenclature.

The original conjunction actually expressed an error of thinking, which comes back to us in more modern times in the form of “True Believer”, irrational certainty, fanaticism, and again associated with ‘bellum’ or war, and destruction.

This is why I make an attempt not to use the words ‘believe’, and ‘belief’ when self referencing. I like to use the term I “think” or “it is my opinion”. Or, “beyond reasonable doubt”, when making a strong judgment of my opinion.
[If I do use the term self descriptively, I mean it in the very soft and vague popular sense]

Belief is best defined in terms of “faith”, of believing without the need of proofs, as is demanded of many of the major organized religions. And this is where the word again takes on its original connotations, of erroneous thinking.
This brings us back to the major topic of this thread, the attempt of psychological agitprop to frame “Conspiracy Theorists” as true believers, who have a gullible propensity for accepting ideas without sufficient substantiation.

I want to make it clear that I do not see “psychology” as a whole as entirely without merit, as in all lines of inquiry there are those with good intent seeking real answers, and there are others who simply want to use ‘knowledge for power’. Ironically true believers are some of the most apt to fall into the second category.

Let us consider normalcy bias and confirmation bias and how it is more normal to have a confirmation bias … or how conformists are more biased in their confirmations and ideation.

So “normalcy bias” has a truncated definition as per ‘unexpected disaster’ reaction, and also needs to be adopted as an explanation for the perpetual disaster of the ongoing strategy of tension of life in a panoptic society.

Accepting the truth of ‘realpolitik’ Machiavellian architecture of modern political power is difficult when one is not even aware of it. And most are unaware of it due to the fact that modern political power is maintained by a regime of public relations that manipulates perceptions to effect ignorance of the architecture of political power. It’s a political agenda.

The agenda is in plain sight, and as Marshal McLuhan reveals, it is simply public incredulity that blinds them to the obvious.

  24. Obama’s “War on Ebola” or War for Oil? Sending 3000 Troops to African “Ebola” Areas that Happen to Export Oil to China

By F. William Engdahl – Global Research, October 03, 2014

“For a Nobel Peace Prize President, Barack Obama seems destined to go down in history books as the President who presided over one of the most aggressive series of wars ever waged by a bellicose Washington Administration. Not even George Bush and Dick Cheney came close.

First, before the ink was even dry on his Nobel Prize certificate, Obama announced the Afghanistan “surge”, pouring another 30,000 US military into that destroyed part of the world. Then came Obama’s war against Libya’s Qaddafi, followed rapidly by his war to try to topple Syria’s Bashar al Assad. Soon after came Obama’s “war for democracy in Ukraine,” otherwise better called Obama’s attempt to provoke Russia into a new war confrontation with NATO by backing a gaggle of Ukrainian oligarchs, criminals and outright neo-nazis in Kiev. In July of this year, Obama’s Administration was pushing the President to launch a second try at bombing Syria back to the Stone Age, allegedly to destroy ISIS, a looney Jihadist Sunni sect that was said to be a joint venture of the CIA and Israeli intelligence.

Now Obama’s advisers, no doubt led by the blood-thirsty National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, have come up with a new war. This is the War Against Ebola. On September 16, President Obama solemnly declared the war. He announced, to the surprise of most sane citizens, that he had ordered 3,000 American troops, the so-called “boots on the ground” that the Pentagon refuses to agree to in Syria, to wage a war against….a virus?

In a carefully stage-managed appearance at the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Obama read a bone-chilling speech. He called the alleged Ebola outbreaks in west Africa, “a global threat, and it demands a truly global response. This is an epidemic that is not just a threat to regional security. It’s a potential threat to global security, if these countries break down, if their economies break down, if people panic,” Obama continued, conjuring images that would have made Andromeda Strain novelist Michael Chrichton drool with envy. Obama added, “That has profound effects on all of us, even if we are not directly contracting the disease. This outbreak is already spiraling out of control.”

With that hair-raising introduction, the President of the world’s greatest Superpower announced his response. In his role as Commander-in-Chief of the United States of America announced he has ordered 3,000 US troops to west Africa in what he called, “the largest international response in the history of the CDC.” He didn’t make clear if their job would be to shoot the virus wherever it reared its ugly head, or to shoot any poor hapless African suspected of having Ebola. Little does it matter that the US military doesn’t have anywhere near 3,000 troops with the slightest training in public health.

Before we all panic and line up to receive the millions of doses of untested and reportedly highly dangerous “Ebola vaccines” the major drug-makers are preparing to dump on the market, some peculiarities of this Ebola outbreak in Africa are worth noting.

    Certified Ebola Deaths?

The World Health Organization, under the Director, Dr Margaret Chan, in a press conference on September 13, sounded the alarm, warning that Ebola in west Africa was surging out of control. “In the three hardest hit countries, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, the number of new patients is moving far faster than the capacity to manage them,” Chan claimed. WHO claims that almost half of 301 health-care workers dealing with alleged Ebola patients have themselves died, and that 2,400 people out of 4,784 cases in Africa have died of Ebola. On August 8, Chan declared the African Ebola situation a “Public Health Emergency of International Concern,” whatever that is supposed to mean.

A major problem for Chan and her backers, however, is that her Ebola statistics are very, very dubious. For those whose memory is short, this is the same Dr Margaret Chan at WHO in Geneva who was guilty in 2009 of trying to panic the world into taking unproven vaccines for “Swine Flu” influenza, by declaring a Global Pandemic with statistics calling every case of symptoms that of the common cold to be “Swine Flu,” whether it was runny nose, coughing, sneezing, sore throat. That changed WHO definition of Swine Flu allowed the statistics of the disease to be declared Pandemic. It was an utter fraud, a criminal fraud Chan carried out, wittingly or unwittingly (she could be simply stupid but evidence suggests otherwise), on behalf of the major US and EU pharmaceutical cartel.

In a recent Washington Post article it was admitted that sixty-nine percent of all the Ebola cases in Liberia registered by WHO have not been laboratory confirmed through blood tests. Liberia is the epicenter of the Ebola alarm in west Africa. More than half of the alleged Ebola deaths, 1,224, and nearly half of all cases, 2,046, have been in Liberia says WHO. And the US FDA diagnostic test used for the lab confirmation of Ebola is so flawed that the FDA has prohibited anyone from claiming they are safe or effective. That means, a significant proportion of the remaining 31 % of the Ebola cases lab confirmed through blood tests could be false cases.

In short, no one knows what 1,224 Liberians in recent weeks have died from. But WHO claims it to be Ebola. Note that the countries affected by the Ebola alarm are among the poorest and most war-torn regions in the world. Wars over blood diamonds and colonial genocidal tribal wars have left a devastated, mal-nourished population in its wake.”~Engdahl

    “Under the spreading chestnut tree
I sold you and you sold me.
There lie they, and here lie we
    Under the spreading chestnut tree.”

“In the long run, a hierarchical society was only possible on a basis of poverty and ignorance.
The problem was how to keep the wheels of industry turning without increasing the real wealth of the world. Goods must be produced, but they need not be distributed. And in practice the only way of achieving this was by continuous warfare.
The essential act of war is destruction, not necessarily of human lives, but of the products of human labour. War is a way of shattering to pieces, or pouring into the stratosphere, or sinking in the depths of the sea, materials which might otherwise be used to make the masses too comfortable, and hence, in the long run, too intelligent.
In principle the war effort is always so planned as to eat up any surplus that might exist after meeting the bare needs of the population. In practice the needs of the population are always underestimated, with the result being that there is a chronic shortage of half the necessities of life; but this is looked upon as an advantage. It is deliberate policy to keep even the favored groups somewhere near the brink of hardship, because a general state of scarcity increases the importance of small privileges and thus magnifies the distinction between one group and another.”~Goldstein/Orwell

    • “The question remains, why end a novel as passionate, violent and dark as this one with what appears to be a scholarly appendix?
The answer may lie in simple grammar. From its first sentence, “The Principles of Newspeak” is written consistently in the past tense, as if to suggest some later piece of history, post-1984, in which Newspeak has become literally a thing of the past — as if in some way the anonymous author of this piece is by now free to discuss, critically and objectively, the political system of which Newspeak was, in its time, the essence. Moreover, it is our own pre-Newspeak English language that is being used to write the essay. Newspeak was supposed to have become general by 2050, and yet it appears that it did not last that long, let alone triumph, that the ancient humanistic ways of thinking inherent in standard English have persisted, survived, and ultimately prevailed, and that perhaps the social and moral order it speaks for has even, somehow, been restored.”

From Ukraine to Syria: UN’s Selective Defense of Human Rights
By Ulson Gunnar – Global Research, October 05, 2014

“For the past several years, the United Nations has served as a platform for Syria’s enemies to air allegations of human rights abuses and even attempts to use such allegations to justify military aggression against Syria itself. Tales of “barrel bombs” being used against civilians, the bombardment of enemy positions at the cost of civilian lives and the destruction of vital infrastructure have all been constructs in the West’s narrative against the Syrian government.

Now that the US is itself bombing Syria, killing Syrians including innocent men, women and children, as well as vital infrastructure local populations depend on for their survival, the UN has grown suddenly quiet. The Western press too seems to have reverted to its observance of the notion of “collateral damage.” Suddenly, the very terrorists the Syrian government has tried to warn the world about for years as it fought them in its city streets and countrysides, are now bad enough for the end of defeating them to justify the means of occasionally killing civilians, so long as they are killed with US rather than Syrian weapons.

The startling hypocrisy combines with the fact that Syria’s military is operating within its territory, conducting security operations to secure its own borders and all territory within it, while the US is operating thousands of miles from its own shores, in a foreign country, with both a doubtful pretext and an even more doubtful agenda in mind as it does so….”~Gunnar

  28. The Anglo-American Empire’s War of Conquest. The War on the Islamic State (ISIL) is a Lie
    By Larry Chin
    Global Research, October 05, 2014
    Url of this article:

On September 24, 2014, the United Nations passed a resolution paving the way to open-ended “anti-terror” warfare against the Islamic State (IS), the “network of death”, promising a war that will “last for years”.

The “war on the Islamic State” is a lie. It is the same fetid Big Lie that is the “war on terrorism”, reheated and updated with new, bloodier special effects, new propaganda, a familiar but revised cast of demonic villains and a new military attack calendar.

Three thousand lives were sacrificed on 9/11 for the fabricated “war on terrorism” against “Al-Qaeda” and Osama bin Laden. Now, thirteen years of continuous imperial onslaught and tens of thousands of deaths and atrocities later, the “Islamic State” escalation will topple Syria, Iran, transform Iraq, and provide yet another pretext to wreak havoc anywhere else the empire wishes.

But it is the same lie, built on the same propaganda cornerstones: the myth of the “outside enemy”, the threat of “Islamic terror”, eternal pretexts to galvanize public opinion behind an Anglo-American agenda of conquest and war that will never end.

It is the same lie, founded upon the idea that “Islamic terrorists” are enemies of the West, when, in amply documented fact, these terrorists are the West’s finest foot soldiers and military-intelligence assets.

The Islamic State, like Al-Qaeda and all entities that comprise the “Islamic Jihad” is a creation of the CIA and Anglo-American intelligence (Pakistan’s ISI, Saudi intelligence, British MI6, the Israeli Mossad, etc.). The various jihadist militias and military-intelligence assets and fronts—IS, Al-Qaeda, Al-Nusrah, etc. are “American made”, openly supported and utilized by the United States and its allies, as they have been continuously from the Cold War to this very second. These forces are carefully manipulated and guided weapons for US-NATO. Terrorists are instrumental to the ongoing US-led covert and overt operations in Syria. Terrorists run by the US and CIA destabilized and toppled Libya, are integral to coming regime changes. Under both direct and indirect orders of US-NATO sponsors and handlers, these “demon hordes” are, and will continue to be, the leading military-intelligence assets behind every major geostrategic action in the region.

The IS joins Al-Qaeda as today’s favorite “boogeyman” target. The war masks the true intent, which is the toppling of Syria and Iran, and onward.

The “terrorists” are depicted in propaganda as either villains or “freedom fighters”, depending on the day and the military theater. The horrific acts of the death squads, including beheadings and other atrocities, are standard operating procedure in CIA black operations, terror techniques going back to the Vietnam War and the Phoenix Program, and are done upon orders of US and US-allied military-intelligence. Decapitations of Syrian civilians have been ongoing for years, to media silence. The recent spate of beheadings of Americans and British have been selectively carried out (and in some cases staged) for propaganda purposes. Political theater designed to galvanize the dimwitted, ignorant masses to support massive retaliatory war.

According to recent polls, four out of five registered American voters overwhelmingly support military attacks against the Islamic State. The acquiescent, ignorant American masses, still irretrievably pacified by the propaganda “shock and fear” effect of 9/11, enthusiastically back any “retaliation” against “bad guys who cut off heads” and “threaten America”, and have no problem sending American youth to the front lines to be cannon fodder. They are “defending freedom”. The American sheeple believe—even love to believe—the Big Lie. Whereas the citizens of Hong Kong and in other countries take passionately to the streets to fight for their democracy, the average American has long abdicated his and her duty as an informed, vigilant citizen. Far too busy shooting nude selfies on handheld gadgets—their brains addled by inane entertainment, and Hollywood celebrations of the national security apparatus—to care.

So-called liberals and progressives also back action against the Islamic State. The few who have any inkling that Islamic terror is a product of the US war machine wind up wringing their sweaty hands over the red herring of “blowback”: the tired idea that the US created but lost control of a Jihadist force that it now must contain. It is bogus. These militias are the American empire’s key foot soldiers and operatives, the leading force behind plans to topple Syria, just as they were in Libya. This is not blowback, but a well orchestrated military-intelligence operation, cloaked beneath a criminal conspiracy that is maintained by an ironclad elite consensus.

Islamic terrorism “stops” the minute that its sponsors at CIA, MI, ISI, etc. stop using it. The war itself stops when the elites who have planned this Final Solution to seize control of the last remaining oil supplies on the planet—the very life blood of the Anglo-American empire—stop, and give up their war of conquest and greed. The entire apparatus collapses. But this will not happen in this lifetime. Not even in the event of planetary calamity.

To threaten humanity, to pretend to wage war against boogeyman that they themselves created, and continue to support and use: only those of world class evil could conceive of and carry out this horror.

The American network of death goose-steps to the abyss

With each passing day, more of the Anglo-American empire’s veneer falls away, revealing the violence at its core.

Leading the charge in front of the United Nations, the mendacious President Barack Obama thundered:

“No God condones this terror. There can be no reasoning—no negotiation—with this brand of evil. The only language understood by killers like this is the language of force.”

Here was a performance directly out of the playbook of the Third Reich and Bush/Cheney, brimming with threats, false morality, pseudo-religious claptrap, and invective directed against the perceived enemies. Here was Obama being who he really is, a war criminal. The ghost of Hitler has to be envious.

No God condones deceit. No God condones the terror of the Anglo-American empire’s war of conquest. No God condones the extermination of tens of thousands of lives in more than a decade of imperial conquest for oil.

There is no reasoning—no negotiation—with the criminal leadership of an empire that will thrash and kill to the brink of extinction. There is no reasoning—no negotiation—warmongers who have wiped out entire swaths of humanity.

There is no reasoning—no negotiation— with an empire so desperate and out of answers that gangsterism replaces the rule of law, and false flag operations constitute foreign policy. There is no reasoning with those who could, in the span of just a few months, set off false flag destabilizations in Syria, false flag operations in support of a neo-Nazi cabal in Ukraine, plan and cover up the false flag shootdown of Flight MH-17 (blamed on Russia), support the bombing and conquest of Gaza by Israel (blamed on Hamas, in the wake of the murder of Israeli teenagers by ISIL terrorists), and set off the “sudden” rise of the Islamic State.

There is no reasoning—no negotiation— with an empire that must and will stop at nothing to control every inch of the Eurasian subcontinent, and destroy all opposition along the way, including potential nuclear confrontations with Russia and China.

There is no reasoning—no negotiation— with the functionaries and enablers of this empire—in governments, in media, everywhere. There is also no reasoning—no negotiation— with the cognitively impaired sheeple.

There is no reasoning—no negotiation— with the killers, the world planning orchestrators speaking the “language of force”; these “great men and women” who hold humanity in contempt.

There is, indeed, no reasoning—no negotiation—with this brand of evil.

  29. Who was Behind the 1994 Rwanda Genocide?
By Antony C. Black – Global Research, October 05, 2014

It is something of an embarrassment to the US architects of the ICTR that the tribunal, though explicitly tasked with indicting only members of the Hutu government, have failed singularly in successfully prosecuting any of them. Not only have the most senior members of the Rwandan government – through the spirited efforts of the various defense teams – been acquitted, but the mass of evidence so assembled has stood the entire official narrative on its head, and has implicated, au contraire, the RPF – and its foreign accomplices – in the genocide … a drama written and produced in Washington, D.C.

    Of Credibility and Credulity

In the two decades that have elapsed since the overthrow of the Rwandan government – and the subsequent killing of millions of it’s peoples, and those millions more killed in the Congo – the Big Lie has flourished virtually unabated. Though the likes of Robin Philpot (‘Rwanda and the New Scramble for Africa’), and Ed Herman and David Peters (‘The Politics of Genocide’) have, of late, lent this revised narrative a slightly higher profile, more generally – and notably amongst the Left – the ‘official’ narrative of Rwanda circa 1994 continues to hold sway. So much so that Rwanda has become, in Philpot’s resonant phrasing, “a useful imperial fiction”, i.e. a shining example of the ‘need for intervention’ that is deployed whenever and wherever ‘humanitarian imperialism’ seeks to invade and destroy nations opposed to it.

It need not be so. At the very least amongst the Left, it should never have been so. In the early days of the Rwandan debacle, one anomalous event stands out like the proverbial sore thumb transparently pointing the way to what was really ‘going down’ in the beleaguered nation. That event was the majority withdrawal in May of 1994 of the UN troops stationed in Rwanda, i.e. essentially clearing the way for the unobstructed overthrow of the government. This one item alone, irrespective of the fact that the corporate media habitually lies about virtually all matters of significant political import, should have tipped off observers of the Great Game to the idea that something rotten was taking place in the state of Rwanda. But it didn’t. And that, given what subsequently transpired in Yugoslavia and later Libya – where again, significant sectors of the Left bought into the official narrative – and given what is today transpiring in Syria and Ukraine, is problematic.

If there is one lesson, then, that we can take from the tragic events adumbrated herein – and, though hardly new, is a notion that bears vigorously reinforcing – it is that whatever information is fed us by the state and by the corporate mass media with regard to fundamental global strategic happenings, the only historically consistent and logical stance to take is to assume that the truth lies 180 degrees in the opposite direction. This should be our default position, until proof is rendered otherwise, in every instance.

In the meantime, to bear witness to the truth of what really happened in Rwanda falls to you. As Noam Chomsky once wrote with regard to an earlier suite of imperial crimes, ‘For yours is an historic mission, and one you should not soon forget.’

  30. “My question is, why is complete denial, even aggressive behavior in some instances, the reaction of some when the objective facts of reality are pointed out to them, while there are others who react with an increased sense of curiosity, an increased desire for additional information?

Why do some shun knowledge and others crave it?

Why do some resist the programming, and others welcome it?

It is as though with some people – those who most avidly embrace the “we are right” view – have minds that are closed from the very get-go, and they are entirely incapable of opening them, even just a crack. There is no curiosity in them. There are no questions in their minds. There are no “what ifs?” or “maybes”.

It seems to me that the propaganda of the Official Culture then, while quite effective, may not be the sole reason why so many Americans are apathetic when it comes to what their government is doing, both in the US and abroad. It seems as though there may be some distinct differences in human beings at a very basic level that needs to be considered here.

In my opinion, (KAH), all of us who were raised in the US have been duped via this Official Culture mind control imposed through the educational system and the mass media. But there are some of us who seem to have the ability to question, to wonder, to open our minds to other possibilities – even if they seem far-fetched. And invariably, this opening of the mind to other views has been enriching and rewarding on many levels, not the least of which is a humanitarian view of all peoples and cultures.

Is being able to open your mind and ask questions just a matter of “courage?” Is a closed mind simply evidence of being a coward? Is resistance to the “official culture” a consequence of a fundamental “rebellious nature” and are those who “go along with the crowd” better “team players,” even if the team is on the moral low-road?

Is the difference one that exists between people who are willing to face the “terror of the situation” and those who simply cannot live in the state of tension produced by having to make moral decisions themselves?

Or, is there something deeper here? If so, what is it? And whatever it is, why is it so “active” in the present day and time? What is the “fog” that surrounds America and the minds of its people.”~Laura Knight-Jadczyk

  31. The Sociobiology of Sociopathy: An Integrated Evolutionary Model
    – Linda Mealey

The conclusion is that the American way of life has optimized the survival of psychopaths with the consequence that it is an adaptive “life strategy” that is extremely successful in American society, and thus has increased in the population in strictly genetic terms. What is more, as a consequence of a society that is adaptive for psychopathy, many individuals who are NOT genetic psychopaths have similarly adapted, becoming “effective” psychopaths, or “secondary sociopaths.”

(Many experts differentiate between primary and secondary sociopaths. The first is a sociopath because they have the “genes” and the second is more or less “created” by their environment of victimization. Other experts refer to these two categories as “psychopaths” for the genetic variety and “sociopaths” for the reactive variety. We prefer this latter distinction.)

Of course, because they are not intellectually handicapped, these individuals [psychopaths] will progress normally in terms of cognitive development and will acquire a theory of mind. Their theories, however, will be formulated purely in instrumental terms [what can claiming this or that GET for me?], without access to the empathic understanding that most of us rely on so much of the time.

They may become excellent predictors of others’ behavior, unhandicapped by the “intrusiveness” of emotion, acting, as do professional gamblers, solely on nomothetic laws and actuarial data rather than on hunches and feelings.

In determining how to “play” in the social encounters of everyday life, they will use a pure cost-benefit approach based on immediate personal outcomes, with no “accounting” for the emotional reactions of the others with whom they are dealing.

Without any real love to “commit” them to cooperation, without any anxiety to prevent fear of “defection,” without guilt to inspire repentance, they are free to continually play for the short-term benefit.

At the same time, because changes in gene frequencies in the population would not be able to keep pace with the fast-changing parameters of social interactions, an additional fluctuating proportion of sociopathy should result because, in a society of [psychopathy], the environmental circumstances make an antisocial strategy of life more profitable than a pro-social one. [Mealey]

  32. While everyone will readily admit that there is probably too much violence on television and that the ads are probably pure balderdash, very few people have a real conception of the precise nature and extent of the hypnotic influence of the media. Still fewer have any idea of the purposes behind this inducement. Wallace and Wallechinsky write in The People’s Almanac:

“After World War II, television flourished… Psychologists and sociologists were brought in to study human nature in relation to selling; in other words, to figure out how to manipulate people without their feeling manipulated. Dr. Ernest Dichter, President of the Institute for Motivational Research made a statement in 1941… ‘the successful ad agency manipulates human motivations and desires and develops a need for goods with which the public has at one time been unfamiliar — perhaps even undesirous of purchasing.
“Discussing the influence of television, Daniel Boorstin wrote:
‘Here at last is a supermarket of surrogate experience. Successful programming offers entertainment — under the guise of instruction; instruction — under the guise of entertainment; political persuasion — with the appeal of advertising; and advertising — with the appeal of drama.’
“Programed television serves not only to spread acquiescence and conformity, but it represents a deliberate industry approach.” [quoted by Wallace, Wallechinsky]

  33. “Can it be that the conditions of society, including the programed response to “minimal signs of authority” are planned? Would anyone care to suggest that the figures and studies relating to the detrimental influence of programming is not available to them and that they don’t realize that it is costing them money? If that is the case, then they are too stupid to be arbiters of our values and we should disregard them entirely in any event. If it is not the case, then we must assume that there is an object to this manipulation.

There is much evidence to support the idea that this purpose, or the object of this manipulation, is to create psychological and social disunity – social psychopathy – sufficient to permit the instituting of a totalitarian government at the behest of the people. It is further theorized that the “wealthy elite” seek to control the entire world from behind the scenes and it is to this end that they mastermind and fund the various actions which appear to the masses as political and international “accidents”.

    FDR. said:

“Nothing in politics ever happens by accident; if it happens, you can bet it was planned!”
And he was in a position to know.

There is much evidence to support the notion that wars are fomented and fought to redistribute these balances of financial power behind the scenes and that, though our fathers, brother, grandfathers, uncles, cousins and sons die in these actions, they are merely games of “International Relations” played by those whose money and position give them absolute power to shape our reality to some nefarious end.”~Laura Knight-Jadczyk

  34. On June 5, 2006, the Muckraker Report contacted the FBI Headquarters, (202) 324-3000, to
learn why Bin Laden’s Most Wanted poster did not indicate that Usama was also wanted in
connection with 9/11. The Muckraker Report spoke with Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative
Publicity for the FBI. When asked why there is no mention of 9/11 on Bin Laden’s Most
Wanted web page, Tomb said, “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin
Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden
    to 9/11.”

Surprised by the ease in which this FBI spokesman made such an astonishing statement, I
asked, “How this was possible?” Tomb continued, “Bin Laden has not been formally
charged in connection to 9/11.” I asked, “How does that work?” Tomb continued, “The
FBI gathers evidence. Once evidence is gathered, it is turned over to the Department of
Justice. The Department of Justice than decides whether it has enough evidence to present
to a federal grand jury. In the case of the 1998 United States Embassies being bombed, Bin
Laden has been formally indicted and charged by a grand jury. He has not been formally
indicted and charged in connection with 9/11 because the FBI has no hard evidence
    connected Bin Laden to 9/11.”

  35. The forces of Globalism have long targeted national sovereignty as an expendable and outdated concept. Little doubt remains that America has been ruled by agents of the interdependence mindset. Isn’t that the main theme in the Trilateral Commission approach? Jimmy Carter and George Bush 41 are dedicated NWO proponents. Bill Clinton was the most transparent double agent, who implemented the sell out of America. The merging of the one world economy took place under his watch. What emerges is the holistic codependence of every individual to the dictates of the elites that claim special preeminence. Isn’t this exactly the kind of deception and group conduct that rules the “World Community”?

    • Bill Clinton is a Rhodes Scholar and a student of Carroll Quigley himself, who wrote the books, Tragedy & Hope, and The Anglo-American Establishment; which explain the history of the agenda for global domination albeit as a form of apologia.

  36. “You have to hand it to America. It has exercised quite a clinical manipulation of power worldwide while masquerading as a force for universal good. It’s brilliant, even witty, a highly successful act of hypnosis. How many people do you have to kill before you qualify to be described as a mass murderer and a war criminal?” ~Gunter Grass

  37. The powers granted by the Constitution cannot sanely be construed to provide the authority to usurp,
preempt or eradicate it. However, the propagators of the supremacy myth would have us believe otherwise. On 4-11-52 Secretary of State, John Foster Dulles (cfr), speaking before the American Bar Association in Louisville, Kentucky said:

“Treaties make international law and also they make domestic law. Under our
Constitution, treaties become the supreme law of the land…. Treaty law can override
the Constitution. Treaties, for example, …can cut across the rights given the people by
    their constitutional Bill of Rights.”~Dulles

The Constitution for the United States of America – the Bill of Rights being part of the Constitution did not give rights to anybody. The Constitution secures the acknowledged, inalienable, God-given rights of each individual.

  38. A book written by Roger Rusk, brother of globalist Dean Rusk, titled, The Other End of the World. On page 206 Roger Rusk writes, “A few years ago Mr. Robert McNamara retired as head of the World Bank. At a dinner in his honor in Washington, Mr. David Rockefeller made the following revealing statement:

‘The world which we have worked to construct is threatened. The gravity of this moment, when Mr. McNamara and others are about to leave their posts while a new administration re-examines American foreign aid policy, is great. If we are going to save the international institutions we have put in place, the moment is now or never, for the struggle between the old guard and the new is going to go far beyond the reduction of capital appropriations. It is going to endanger the new world order which we have based on the alliance between Wall Street and Washington.

While we men of firms and banks organize international channels of economy and raw
materials, the government is now building its own diplomatic and economic bridges between Washington and foreign governments. By our methods, our governments contribute to the stability and economic growth of the world, our multinationals benefit, and when it is necessary, they contribute their political support. Now radical conservatives are attempting to destroy all that in seeking first and foremost to serve the national interests of the United States’.”~David Rockefeller

“… the great question of our time is not whether or not one world can be achieved, but

  41. According to the Reece investigation, the National Education Association (NEA) is a foundation supported
organization. The Reece Committee Report said of the Carnegie Endowment’s work… “An extremely powerful propaganda machine was created.” It spent many millions of dollars in mass production of material, creation and support of numerous international policy clubs and local organizations at colleges, collaboration with newspaper editors and school book publishers, establishment of professorships at colleges, training and indoctrination of teachers, etc. Although the Endowment frequently used terms such as the “education of public opinion”, Reece maintained it was not public education but “molding public opinion”. Further the report said, “No private group should have the power or the right to decide what should be read and taught in our schools and colleges”.

  42. Here is the etymology of the word “Belief”: In Sanskrit, Bala=explain, describe, force, against
one’s will, without being able to help or change things, militarily, troops, young, childish, infantile,
not full-grown or developed, newly, rising early, ignorant, simple, foolish, fit for sacrifice, child,
fool, simpleton, or any immature living creature.
Eva means earth, world, conduct, habit, usage, custom. We derived the word Eve from the
    Sanskrit Eva.
Supposedly, Eve, the wife of Adam, introduced Adam to the religion of sin and degradation. Bel +
Eva = Beleva (Belief; Believe). The connotation of Baleva is, “forcing one’s childish, foolish,
ignorant, infantile, underdeveloped, sacrifice worthy, earthly habits, conduct, and customs on
oneself and others” (preferably on others).

  43. Earlier this year, I highlighted the fact that unconstitutional surveillance was in many ways birthed by the pointless, misguided and utterly failed, “War on Drugs.” Here’s an excerpt from that post, titled, How NSA Surveillance Was Birthed from the Drug War – The DEA Tracked Billions of Phone Calls Pre 9/11:

The now-discontinued operation, carried out by the DEA’s intelligence arm, was the government’s first known effort to gather data on Americans in bulk, sweeping up records of telephone calls made by millions of U.S. citizens regardless of whether they were suspected of a crime. It was a model for the massive phone surveillance system the NSA launched to identify terrorists after the Sept. 11 attacks. That dragnet drew sharp criticism that the government had intruded too deeply into Americans’ privacy after former NSA contractor Edward Snowden leaked it to the news media two years ago.

The similarities between the NSA program and the DEA operation established a decade earlier are striking – too much so to have been a coincidence, people familiar with the programs said. Former NSA general counsel Stewart Baker said, “It’s very hard to see (the DEA operation) as anything other than the precursor” to the NSA’s terrorist surveillance.

The extent of that surveillance alarmed privacy advocates, who questioned its legality. “This was aimed squarely at Americans,” said Mark Rumold, an attorney with the Electronic Frontier Foundation. “That’s very significant from a constitutional perspective.”
In light of this, it should surprise no one that the DEA continues to use unconstitutional, “classified” methods when targeting suspects. Since the collection of this evidence would be questioned in a courtroom, the DEA suggests using a procedure known as “parallel construction” to avoid any controversy in the public record. This is how it works.

    From Muckrock:

Drug Enforcement Administration training documents released to MuckRock user C.J. Ciaramella show how the agency constructs two chains of evidence to hide surveillance programs from defense teams, prosecutors, and a public wary of domestic intelligence practices.

In training materials, the department even encourages a willful ignorance by field agents to minimize the risk of making intelligence practices public.

The DEA practices mirror a common dilemma among domestic law enforcement agencies: Analysts have access to unprecedented streams of classified information that might prove useful to investigators, but entering classified evidence in court risks disclosing those sensitive surveillance methods to the world, which could either end up halting the program due to public outcry or undermining their usefulness through greater awareness.
So the solution? Use the info anyway and just hide it from the public.

A tactic known as “parallel construction” allows law enforcement to capitalize on intelligence information while obscuring sensitive sources and surveillance methods from the prosecution, defense and jury alike. DEA training documents suggest this method of reconstructing evidence chains is widely taught and deployed.

Last August, Reuters first reported on the practice of parallel construction by the DEA’s Special Operations Division (SOD), a secretive unit that includes representatives from the FBI, CIA and NSA. Slides obtained by Reuters defined the method as “the use of normal investigative techniques to recreate the information provided by SOD.” But documents released to Ciaramella indicate that DEA trainers routinely teach the finer points of parallel construction to field agents and analysts across the country, not just within SOD.

The module puts the issue of using sensitive intelligence in law enforcement a bit more delicately. Per the 2012 lesson plan, the main problem with combining intelligence collection with law enforcement investigations “is the high potential for disclosure of these sensitive sources of information in our open, public trial system.”

In addition to potential national security risks of exposing classified information and constitutional quandaries, an earlier version of the module highlights another issue with introducing sensitive or clandestine evidence into domestic trials: “Americans don’t like it.”
So if “Americans don’t like it,” and the job of the DEA is ostensibly to protect Americans, why are they doing it?
Controversy notwithstanding, parallel construction apparently makes the DEA’s list of such palatable techniques. The modules make clear that the idea is to shape evidence chains so that neither the prosecution nor the defense are to be made aware of classified information, if it can be helped.
This is how it works in real life:

But the released training modules provide no guidance on key issues noted in documents obtained by Reuters last August. In particular, the SOD slides barred agents from disclosing classified sources on affidavits or in courtroom testimony. Under this strain of parallel construction, the court would never know the classified origins of an investigation.“You’d be told only, ‘Be at a certain truck stop at a certain time and look for a certain vehicle.’ And so we’d alert the state police to find an excuse to stop that vehicle, and then have a drug dog search it,” as one former federal agent described the process to Reuters.
This is not what freedom looks like.

    • The Criminal Syndicate squatting in DC is constitutionally ultra vires. This is NOT a “conspiracy theory” – this is a FACT.

Fisher, the senior specialist in separation of powers at the Congressional Research Service, Library of Congress, presents historic and constitutional arguments against the increasing usurpation by the president of war-making powers. Harry Truman set the modern precedent for circumventing congressional war powers by using United Nations authority to sidestep the Constitution during the Korean War. Dwight Eisenhower continued Truman’s approach in covert government activities. With shocking ease, according to the author, subsequent presidents have continued this virtual presidential confiscation of the war powers. Fisher argues that they have done so by actions that violate both the letter and spirit of the Constitution. In an era of presidential temptation to increase popularity through foreign ventures, this study addresses one of the most important constitutional issues facing American government. Its relevance, clarity, and brevity commend the book to the widest readership.~William D. Pederson, Louisiana State Univ., Shreveport

  45. “Those who are able to see beyond the shadows and lies of their culture will never be understood let alone believed by the masses.”~Plato

Plato’s ‘REPUBLIC’, is perhaps the greatest satire ever written. He presents what would seem on the surface the perfect system, a Utopia on a grand scale. Yet upon close inspection and understanding of this screed, what is found is the most profound tyrannical system that could possibly conceived by the mind of man.
Aldous Huxley wrote a novel that followed in Plato’s form, BRAVE NEW WORLD, that makes the same message, but is easier grasped as it is put in modern language.
